CHRISTIAN FUCHS

Co-Founder

Christian Fuchs is a businessman and professional soccer player who played during his entire career in Europe and is now the assistant coach of MLS club Charlotte FC. As a starting player for the 2016 English Premier League Champion Leicester City FC, he is part of one of the greatest stories in the history of sports. He has also played for Schalke 04 in the German Bundesliga and been captain of the Austrian National Team. He has several successful ventures in the USA, England, and Austria with Fox Soccer Academy being the flagship business teaching soccer to more than 600 children worldwide. Christian’s goal is to develop and strengthen United States soccer talent for the global game.

RALUCA FUCHS

Co-Founder

Raluca Gold-Fuchs is an entrepreneur with a background in finance, working for several years for companies such as Goldman Sachs and Caisse de Depot. Raluca owns and operates RA-Entertainment, hosting various large-scale events: film festivals, sporting events, pop, and classical concerts, ballet events, fashion shows, and UN gatherings. She is on the board of five charities having raised over $400,000 in one evening for The Anderson School in NY. She runs several companies including Hudson Sports Complex, NoFuchsGiven Fashion, Esports & Distillery, and Fox Soccer Academy.

MARK SMITH
International Program Director

Mark has been a vital part to build the structure of Fox Soccer Academy in England and the USA. Since his start in 2016, he lead FSA to huge growth in both countries, overseeing both the daily operations and coaching curriculum. He is extremely passionate in helping to create the best opportunities for our players. Mark's experience in professional soccer is vital for our academy's growth. Having coached all around the world with stops in Australia, Greece, and Egypt, his knowledge and experience are great assets to Fox Soccer Academy.

CHAD METZLER
Executive Director Carolinas

Chad Metzler is a professional soccer coach, teacher and business man who has spent his entire professional career serving the Lake Norman area. After graduating from Davidson College, where Chad played soccer, he and his wife, Kristin, spent two years living in the South Pacific nation of Vanuatu while serving in the Peace Corps. Upon returning to Davidson, Chad has been chef-owned of a local restaurant, spent more than 15 years as a teacher, and was the Executive Director of the highly successful Lake Norman Soccer Club. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer of Charlotte Independence Soccer Club. All along the way, Chad has been a successful soccer coach. He has lead teams to win multiple state championships in both club and high school soccer. He has coached teams that have won a large variety of prestigious tournaments in Europe and throughout the US. And he has been instrumental in helping place over 150 players in college and professional soccer programs.

HEINZ GRIESMAYER
Co-Founder

Heinz Griesmayer holds a masters in Sports Science and French. For the past 39 years he is a high school teacher in Austria in Wiener Neustadt. Heinz was a professional soccer player for SC Wiener Neustadt in the second Austrian division. After his retirement he had coaching positions at several clubs before working as the assistant coach for SV Mattersburg in the Austrian Bundesliga, the highest league in Austria. Heinz is a passionate supporter of young soccer players and helps African orphans through the charity “Freunde kicken für Afrika” (Friends kick for Africa).

AIDEN KIRBY
Director of Operations

Aiden has been an employee of Fox Soccer Academy for the past 7 years, first meeting Christian whilst working for Leicester City Football Club. He spent his youth playing for Northampton Town FC, a professional football club in the English Football League. Still playing now, he has a great understanding of both player motivation and passion which he can relate and implement to all age groups and abilities.

Aiden’s primary goal has always been to improve young talent not only in their football ability but to help improve self-confidence and self-belief throughout their training. Since joining Fox Soccer Academy, he has lead the FSA PRO (UK) team to Category 1 and 2 Championships, National Finals and winning the EDP Platinum Tournament in New Jersey. Individual accolades include players signing for professional clubs in Qatar, Italy and the English football pyramid.
