Ethan Gold Joins Charlotte FC's 1st Team For A Week Of Preseason

Ethan Gold has joined the Charlotte FC's first team during their initial week of preseason.
At just 16 years old, he has had the opportunity to train with the 2024 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year, Kristijan Kahlina, alongside goalkeepers George Marks and Chituru Odunze, under the guidance of former US Men's National Team Goalkeeper Coach Aron Hyde.
What's on the horizon? Following a weekend of U16 MLS Next league play, where he secured a clean sheet and led his team to a 6-0 victory over Georgia's KSA, he is now training with MLS Next Pro team Crown Legacy. The new coach, Gary Dickers, who previously managed the U21s of Premier League club Brighton Hove & Albion, will also bring the talented young goalkeeper on their preseason tour in Croatia.
It seems Ethan has a busy schedule ahead, with the coming weeks promising to be both challenging and supportive for his growth.
