It’s hard to believe that FSA PRO is already two months removed from our regular season United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) championship in our very first season! It’s even harder to believe that the process of creating FSA PRO started about a year ago.
Our home, Hudson Sports Complex (aka The Fox Den), owned by our founder, Christian Fuchs, opened its doors last winter with the goal of not only being a premier sports complex for athletes to come together and train, but a venue for high-level soccer that would represent Fox Soccer Academy at the semi-professional or professional level. We began a relationship with the UPSL and ultimately formed the brand of FSA PRO with our first tryout starting last May.
After an inaugural campaign record of 6-1-1 and a goal differential of +21, we ended up lifting the conference trophy by being victorious in the last match of the season which was a must-win game! Fast forward several months, and we’re getting ready for season two in the UPSL!
Tryouts for FSA PRO start in exactly one month at Hudson Sports Complex! Coach Michael Holzer is thrilled about the foundation that we have created and cannot wait to see more local talent make their way to The Fox Den in hopes of representing our club. Coach Holzer has been doing his due diligence to continue to improve FSA PRO as he just visited the UK where he met with Fox Soccer Academy colleagues and even the entire Leicester City Football Club staff and first team! This trip enabled him to learn from top-tier professionals like Brendan Rodgers as Michael looks to implement tactics and a culture that will continue to put us in a position to be successful.
