Record Breaking Weekend

The past weekend was a significant milestone in the history of Fox Soccer Academy New York. Our boys and girls achieved an impressive record of 13 victories in 13 matches, demonstrating their excellent development over the season and embodying the essence of our academy. Here are some statistics.

SCORING FRENZY

Our teams impressively scored 59 goals, averaging 4.5 goals per game. While some matches were close and competitive, in others, our teams significantly outperformed the opposition. For instance, the U11 FSA Nirvana girls scored an impressive 7 goals without conceding, and the U16 FSA Warwick boys went on a scoring spree with 9 goals.

STRONG DEFENSIVE WORK

Indeed, our offensive play was outstanding, yet it's even more accurate to say that a strong defense underpins a superb performance. This was particularly clear in our U14 FSA Nirvana girls' match, where their unwavering teamwork in defense secured a 1-0 victory. The reward for their effort: a clean sheet! Great job, ladies.

MAGIC NUMBER 8

Overall, our teams achieved 8 clean sheets over the weekend. It is particularly impressive to observe how players are executing the Fox press, consistently applying pressure on the ball and keeping it as far from our goal as possible. And if that strategy doesn't succeed due to the opponent's quality, we can always rely on a dependable goalkeeper to handle the situation.
