About Phil Wilkinson
Phil started his coaching career in 2004 in England by leading his college team's training sessions for Durham New college. He has worked with MLS Camps in 2005 for 9 months as a DOC in Milford, CT.
In 2009 Phil started working with SISA in Mooresville, first as team trainer and then in 2011 being honored to lead their program as their first DOC until the spring of 2018. He also coached at Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, from August 2015 - June 2017 as an assistant coach and the GK coach.
Most recently, he worked with Charlotte Independence Soccer Club as the Director of Community Engagement, Lake Norman Youth Academy Director, and Mooresville Recreation director.
He is also an assistant coach with the USA National men’s blind soccer team with USABA.
