Without a doubt, when you visit our FSA PRO games, you will very soon understand why Christian Henry is one of our fan favorites. As a regular in our team, he works tirelessly on the right wing. He is a constant threat on the defenders and the opponents' goal with his speed, dribbling, and dangerous crosses. There is only one thing Christian is still on the lookout for...tallying his first goal for the Foxes.
What did you make of the last game against Mass United FC? What changed compared to the first game?
It was a great feeling to be a part of the first ever win for FSA PRO, especially against a club with such a successful history like Mass United. We took a similar approach in our game plan from our first match as we continue to find our identity as team, but latched on to subtle tactical changes learned during training throughout the week. The group really emphasized Coach Holzer's style and principles of play, all while fighting for each other.
What was the atmosphere like for the team after the win?
The team morale was extremely high in the locker room after getting three points. Each and every player contributed to the performance and helped us get the result. We were disappointed with our inaugural match loss last weekend and knew we had to respond positively as a group. We worked on many aspects of the game, especially finding the back of the net. Luckily, our hard work and perseverance allowed us to do did just that.
You’re a fan favorite for the Foxes. How important is the support of our fans at our home games?
The support on display at Hudson Sports Complex means the world to my teammates and I. It creates a positive environment that inspires and motivates us as players to work harder than ever. It’s always a special occasion to play in front of family, friends, and the next generation of players so close to home.
When do we see Christian Henry scoring his first goal for FSA PRO?
The first one is always the toughest! I’ve always enjoyed creating and setting up my teammates more than scoring myself. I am itching to get on the scoresheet and will be working hard to make sure I contribute to the team with a goal in the near future.
